Submit Your Story

RaisingHerVoice.org publishes anonymous stories about emergency contraception submitted by sexual assault survivors and their advocates.  The stories allow survivors to have a voice and to raise awareness about pregnancy prevention following sexual assault.

If you would like to submit your story for publication on RaisingHerVoice.org, please contact us using the information below. By submitting your story to RaisingHerVoice.org, you agree to let RaisingHerVoice.org use your story on our website or in another medium, such as a brochure or press release.

Privacy Concerns
Your privacy is very important to us. Please note that we may alter or omit some details of your story to retain your anonymity. How to Submit Your Story

You can submit your story using any of the following methods.

What to Include in Your Story

Here are some suggestions for what to include in your submission.  All information is optional.

• Location (This should not be specific enough to identify your actual location: i.e., Central PA, Chicago, IL.)

• Did you receive emergency contraception?

• A narrative about your experience however you wish to tell it.

Speaking Out Publicly

If you are willing to tell your story to the press, please contact us separately from your story submission.  Click here to download a Press Contact Authorization form to mail to our office.  You will not be contacted by the press unless you submit a Press Contact Authorization form.
