Gina was raped in 1997 by a man who broke into her home in the early hours of the morning.  Following the rape, she called 911 and the police came to her house.  They escorted Gina and her boyfriend to the hospital emergency room.  Read Gina's Story

Priya is a Direct Services Supervisor for a sexual assault services center. In the summer of 2002, she supervised a case involving a 14-year old girl who had been sexually assaulted by an acquaintance.  Read Priya's Story




Jasmine was asleep in bed next to her four year-old son when she was accosted by an unknown man who handcuffed, blindfolded, and kidnapped her at gunpoint, threatening to kill her if she did not cooperate.  Read Jasmine's Story

 

Monica and her husband legally separated during the summer of 1994.  Due to previous displays of his violent behavior, Monica filed a court order to keep him away from her.  However, soon after he moved out, her husband broke into her house and raped her at knife point. Read Monica's Story




Alisha was raped her sophomore year of college by one of her best guy friends. As soon as Alisha was able, she ran to her friends' room for help and had the safety service transport her to the student clinic. Read Alisha's Story



Julie was 15 years old and walking with her friends towards their neighborhood.  Some of her friends were headed in a different direction, and Julie began walking with her friend's cousin who was headed the same way.  Read Julie's Story


Rebecca had been very ill and took some night-time cold medicine before going to bed early one night.  Some point thereafter she heard a knock at her door, which she groggily answered--it was a guy friend, checking to see how she was feeling, ostensibly worried since she hadn't answered her phone.  Read Rebecca's Story


During my freshman year of college, a friend introduced me to her male friend who went to a nearby college.  He and I hung out all day together, laughing and tanning.  He invited me later to come take a tour of his college since I had never been there.  Read Jenna's Story
